Hof van Savoye is one of the earliest Renaissance buildings in the Low Countries, commissioned by Margaret of Austria as her court residence. The palace features a striking facade with arched windows and a grand entrance, while the interior includes a courtyard with a well-preserved arcade. Today, it serves as a cultural center, hosting concerts, exhibitions, and conferences. Visitors can admire the architecture from the outside or attend events inside. The building is a testament to Mechelen's importance during the Habsburg era, when Margaret governed the Netherlands from here. Its location near the city center makes it easy to combine with other sights.
