Place Saint-Lambert is the main square of Liège, a vast open space that serves as a hub for public events, markets, and daily life. It was once the site of the grand Saint Lambert's Cathedral, which was destroyed in the aftermath of the French Revolution. Today, the square is flanked by important buildings including the Prince-Bishops' Palace and the modern Liège Palace of Justice. Visitors can feel the city's pulse here, with trams, buses, and pedestrians crossing the square. Archaeological remains of the cathedral are visible in an underground museum.
