Sint-Petrus-en-Pauluskerk dominates Ostend's skyline with its soaring twin spires and intricate neo-Gothic architecture. Built in the early 20th century, the church replaced an older parish church and was designed by architect Louis Delacenserie. Inside, visitors are struck by the height of the nave, the colorful stained-glass windows depicting biblical scenes, and the detailed woodwork of the pulpit and choir stalls. The church is still an active place of worship, so visitors are asked to be respectful during services.
