The Coast Tram (Kusttram) is a unique and scenic way to explore the Belgian coastline, stretching 67 kilometers from De Panne near the French border to Knokke-Heist near the Netherlands. In De Haan, the tram stops right in the town center, making it easy to hop on and off. The ride offers ever-changing views of dunes, beaches, and charming seaside architecture. It's not just transportation, it's an attraction in itself, beloved by tourists and locals alike for its convenience and picturesque route. You can ride a short segment or the entire line, which takes about two and a half hours one way. The vintage-style cars add to the nostalgic charm, and the frequent service means you can explore multiple towns in a single day.
