Gun Hill Signal Station is a restored 19th-century military outpost perched on a hill in Barbados. Visitors can climb to the top for panoramic views of the island's east coast and Atlantic Ocean. The site is also home to a striking lion statue, carved in 1868 from a single piece of coral stone by a British soldier. Inside, exhibits explain the station's role in communicating with other signal towers across the island. It's a quick, scenic stop that combines history with breathtaking scenery.
