Bimini Road is a mysterious line of flat, rectangular limestone blocks lying in about 20 feet of water off North Bimini's coast. Stretching roughly 1,800 feet, the formation has sparked theories of a lost Atlantean road, though geologists attribute it to natural beachrock fracturing. Snorkelers and divers can swim over the blocks, observing marine life like parrotfish and sea turtles among the crevices. The site is easily accessible by boat from Alice Town, and the clear, shallow waters make it ideal for beginners. Whether natural or man-made, the road offers a unique underwater adventure.

Don't miss

  • Snorkel along the rectangular stone blocks and spot tropical fish.
  • Ponder the Atlantis theory while floating above the formation.
  • Photograph the geometric pattern visible from the surface on calm days.
