The Flame Towers are a trio of skyscrapers in Baku, designed to resemble flickering flames, paying homage to Azerbaijan's history of fire worship and natural gas reserves. The tallest tower reaches 190 meters. By day, their curved glass facades reflect the sky; by night, thousands of LEDs create dynamic fire-like animations visible across the city. Visitors can admire the towers from Baku Boulevard or the hillside park at their base, and the towers house a hotel, apartments, and offices.
Don't miss
- Watch the evening LED light show from Baku Boulevard or the Upland Park viewpoint
- Photograph the towers from the Caspian Sea promenade for a classic Baku skyline shot
- Visit the base of the towers to appreciate their scale and flame-like architecture
