Schloss Rosegg

Schloss Rosegg is a charming Baroque palace located just outside Velden am Wörthersee. Built in the 18th century, the palace is surrounded by 12 hectares of English-style gardens and a large wildlife park. The palace itself houses a museum of local history and period furnishings, but the real draw is the expansive grounds. The wildlife park is home to over 200 animals, including deer, wild boar, and birds of prey, all in spacious enclosures that mimic their natural habitats.
