Schlossberg is a 473-meter-high hill that rises above the historic center of Graz, offering breathtaking panoramic views of the city and surrounding countryside. At its summit stands the iconic Uhrturm (Clock Tower), a symbol of Graz, which dates back to the 13th century. The hill is a popular recreational area with walking paths, gardens, and several historic structures, including the Glockenturm (Bell Tower) and the remains of the former fortress. Visitors can reach the top via the Schlossbergbahn funicular, a scenic elevator inside the hill, or by hiking up the winding paths. The hill also features a café and a restaurant, making it a perfect spot for a relaxing break with a view.
