Herz-Jesu-Kirche (Church of the Sacred Heart) is a striking neo-Gothic basilica in Graz's fourth district. Its spire soars 109.6 meters, making it the third-tallest church spire in Austria. Built from red brick and pale stone, the church features twin towers, a rose window, and intricate tracery. Inside, the high vaulted nave, stained glass, and a grand altar create an awe-inspiring space. The church is a working parish church and a popular landmark for visitors. Its location near the city center makes it easy to include in a walking tour.
