Vogelinsel (Bird Island) is a tiny, protected island in Lake Constance, connected to the mainland by a narrow causeway. It is a haven for birdlife, with species such as cormorants, herons, and various waterfowl nesting in the reeds and trees. The island is covered in dense vegetation and has a short circular path that takes you through its wild landscape.
