Ritterkopf stands at 3,006 meters in the Ankogel Group, a subrange of the Hohe Tauern. This peak is a favorite among hikers and climbers for its accessible yet challenging routes that provide stunning panoramic views of the surrounding mountains and valleys. The ascent typically involves a mix of rocky trails and some scrambling, rewarding adventurers with a sense of accomplishment and breathtaking scenery. From the summit, you can see the Gastein Valley, the Goldberg Group, and on clear days, the Grossglockner.
