Wild Life Sydney is a wildlife park in the Darling Harbour precinct, on the western edge of the Sydney central business district. It opened in September 2006 and is adjacent to Sea Life Sydney Aquarium and Madame Tussauds Sydney. The public areas are almost entirely enclosed and air-conditioned, with a 1-kilometre walkway through 7,000 square metres of enclosures. The upper-level exhibits are open-air, enclosed by a stainless steel mesh roof designed to look like the ribs of the rainbow serpent of Aboriginal myth when viewed from above.
