Opened in 2006 as part of the Darling Harbour redevelopment, WILD LIFE Sydney Zoo was created to provide an educational and conservation-focused attraction showcasing Australian wildlife. It is operated by Merlin Entertainments, which also runs SEA LIFE Sydney Aquarium next door.
