Perth Zoo is a major zoological garden set along the Swan River, home to over 1,200 animals from Australia and beyond. The zoo is divided into themed areas: Australian Walkabout features kangaroos, emus, and koalas; the African Savannah showcases giraffes and rhinos; and the Asian Rainforest houses orangutans and tigers. Visitors can enjoy keeper talks, animal encounters, and the lush botanical gardens. The zoo's conservation efforts, including breeding programs for endangered species like the numbat, add a meaningful layer to the experience.
