10/10 food, amazing service and atmosphere. They were also super accommodating when we came with our toddler. The chicken pie was to die for, and the steak was INCREDIBLE, I highly recommend coming to Donovan’s.
I went with my partner to have dinner in this unexpectedly amazing place with a beautiful atmosphere. Ardit looked after our table , he was amazing like the food he suggested. We'll come back for sure!!! I suggest this place even in the sunset time , it gives an amazing experience with a wonderful view.
Where do you start? When making your reservation, they confirm professionally back. The moment you walk into the very fine establishment, you are left in good hands. Ok, the restaurant has been around, survived, and still looks great. We were looked after by Isabell, perfect waitress, but the others were nice as well. The restaurant is divine. Only Gripe was there, so called Queensland Leader prawns at $68. Sorry, they weren't leader prawns. But the rest of our meals were outstanding, very flavourism, beautifully plated. Thoroughly recommend this restaurant. It's not cheap! But the best in Melbourne if not the best in Australia. I love coming back.
Every time I'm back in Melbourne, I try to find time to go to Donovans. It's such an enjoyable, welcoming atmosphere. The setting is perfect - like a very stylish but relaxed beach house with stunning bay views. And the food is consistently great.
