If you love pasta this is the place. Tried the squid inked pasta, duck pappardella and tortellini they are all amazing. The fish is cooked to perfection, crispy skin. It took a while for the food to come out, but we visit during holiday season so that could be the reason. Amazing selection of wines even for the one glass options. Definitely will come back again.
One of the best restaurants I've been to. Staff are super friendly. Had lobster spaghetti, and the lobster was so fresh it melted in your mouth. The zucchini flower was amazing as well. Was lucky enough to walk right in. Definitely will return.
Tipo 00 in Melbourne is known for its pasta but reserving a table is almost impossible for us being here for a short while. Someone suggested we try walking in and we got lucky as we grabbed the last available table at 11.45am. They reserve that for walk-in diners. Tipo 00 is the most finely ground flour in the Italian classification system and this restaurant makes perfect pasta. We ordered the chef’s lunch and had 3 starters and 2 types of pasta and a dessert for A$100 each. The ox tongue was an outstanding starter- thinly sliced and charred at the edges, and drizzled with balsamic vinegar. The main event was of course the pasta. It was the optimal al dente-ness and so springy. Simply delicious!
