My husband and I had a marvellous experience in Atria. We went there for dinner on a Sunday night. The location is simply stunning with a great view of the city. The service is impeccable and the food is delicious. The venison tartare and the green peas tart were really good. We tried as mains the rump cap and the duck which had a perfect temperature. We really liked between the sides the potatoes that even if the portion was really small was totally worth it. The drinks as well were very well done. We highly recommend this restaurant and for sure we will go back.
Fantastic good , the foods may be need to change little more , lol. . Is small portions. And hope next time foods and drink wil change more choices. The cocktail drink like normal juice drink 🤣 not I expected that high 🤣 staff is very friendly and service is fantastic, the view for dining place is normal view . But if want the nice view is another lounge . Birthday occasion they got arrange for u little surprise.
My wife and I stayed the night at the Ritz-Carlton Hotel in Melbourne CBD, and for the evening meal we booked the Atria restaurant. It was very good. We decided on the A La Carte menu, as opposed to the Tasting Menu, because it was serving some very fine steak. We started with really quite delicious sourdough bread, which was crispy on the outside and soft in the centre. The real piece de resistance was the Miso Butter. It was salty and creamy; really quite different and a treat. We then ordered the Corn Tortellini with cheese, baby corn and pine nuts. Very delicious with a lovely creamy centre, pine nuts for crunch and freshly-prepared pasta. It certainly kept us happy during the alleged forty-five minute wait for the main course (Actually, it turned out to be thirty minutes.). And it arrived! The 800g O'Connor Pasture-Fed Rib Eye Steak, served with greens and a really tasty fondant potatoes. These potatoes were cut in to squares and bathed in butter. Very moreish! The steak was a massive portion and cooked to perfection medium. Dessert was a Valrhona Manjari Chocolate, Passion Fruit and cultured cream. Again, very moreish. We washed the meal down with two glasses of pinot noir, an Espresso Martini and a cocktail. The service was very good. Our server was friendly, helpful and polite. The atmosphere was busy, but very friendly. Not a cheap joint, as the bill came to over $450 AUD. We would definitely recommend couples or families spoiling themselves with a night or weekend at this hotel, and a meal at this restaurant.
Outstanding meal with a beautifully curated menu, cannot rate the food we had highly enough, Presentation was superb, sophisticated yet really accessible food that was utterly delicious. The duck was probably the best that any of us had ever tasted, everything from the beautifully fresh sourdough bread and whipped butter to the divine chocolate dessert was beyond our expectation, highly highly recommended.
