A R U... Great food, incredible interiors and superb service, Food is rich in flavours, definitely a lot better to share your food, wouldn't recommend having a dish by yourself unless you love rich food. Drinks are great and creative.... Duck & fish were the two faves, Will be going again. Honestly I would go back to eat the bread as a main.... unbelievable...
5 star dining. Absolutely loved our experience here. From the attentive and friendly staff to the delicious food, I couldn’t fault our time at Aru. I booked for my partners birthday and have been in the good books ever since. It made for the perfect date night and is a great option for those looking for something a little more ‘special’. The spanner crab toast and the duck main are absolute must try dishes here.
It was a wonderful venue to celebrate one of the special days with family. The ambience was very special with hosts providing a super service. Food was exceptionally nice and presented in grand style. Flavours were at the top stimulating our taste buds. We took back beautiful memories of the great dining experience.
This was certainly top class dining. We were seated at the kitchen bench from which viewpoint we could see the chefs at work, particularly those who were preparing dishes from the wood fired stove. Menu, which is largely designed for sharing, contained some very appealing dishes across the range of Bites, small plates, large plates, vegetables and sides and rice and noodle dishes. We each had a "Bite" of spanner crab toast with black cabbage and pickled fennel which was delicious. I could have eaten another 3 or 4 of these but I was keen to try some other dishes. We then shared the eggplant with whipped ricotta, the raw beef with toasted rice and snake beans and the clay pot broken rice with braised pork cheek, king brown mushrooms and egg yolk. All of the dishes were beautifully plated and very tasty. Wine list contained an extensive list of Australian and overseas wines, most in excess of $100.Sparkling water was $7 a bottle. Service was superb
