Dined in the back bar, loved the ambiance, music selections, dim lighting, and overall vibe of the space. Sat in a booth, dinner and dessert was amazing! Happy to have stumbled into this alley-way gem. :)
We went to this fabulous restaurant to celebrate a family milestone and I’m so glad that we did. The service is amazing - we had Sarah take great care of us during our stay. She guided us through the menu and was very attentive and friendly after that. The food was fantastic and full of flavour - the serves were generous so much so that we each took half the plates home. We had a wonderful meal at this terrific restaurant.
This is in fact an average restaurant. Take it out of Acland St and it compares poorly with the rest of Melbourne. Better places along Fitzroy St, Blessington St or further afield.
The best Italian food we have eaten in Melbourne. The spaghetti vongole was sensational! The restaurant had a good ambiance and although quite inconspicuous from the outside, inside it was comfortable and smarter than the average Acland Street restaurant if you are looking for somewhere a bit more special.
