We order all the cooked food as my husband cannot eat raw food. The restaurant is busy and fill up quickly. Our main dish is unaju and beef. The side dish is nice too. No complain on Service as it above average good. Price can be little steep.
Kenzan Japanese Restaurant is truly one of the best authentic Japanese dining experiences I’ve had. The sushi here is consistently impressive—fresh, beautifully presented, and bursting with flavor. Each visit leaves me more satisfied than the last. The atmosphere is warm and inviting, making it a perfect spot for both casual meals and special occasions. Highly recommend!
Many faux Japanese Restaurants have opened since I dined there. I’m a customer of many years. I’ve tried some of these imposters. I keep coming back to Kenzan often bringing my friends from overseas. It’s traditional and that’s its key signature asset. The food is exceptional and even my friends from Hollywood just love it there, marvelling how much better it is compared to LA. The service is friendly and the ambiance is unhurried and pleasant.
This restauraunt was very pleasant a little hidden gem for those new to Melbourne. Great food with sushi bar and table service.
