Had an amazing time at Manzé in North Melbourne! The venue is chilled and inviting, perfect venue for a relaxing meal with friends. The Mauritian-inspired cuisine is delicious, with a lunch set menu that offers great value. The service was excellent—friendly, attentive, and made the experience even more enjoyable. Highly recommend for anyone looking for a unique and satisfying dining experience!
everything is amazing.. Mauritian 3course meal for $66 why not??? Food is premium, i feel like they lost $$$ as our meal turns out cheaper than orher restaurants in melbourne
On the positive side, the food is very good, probably 4.5 stars. BUT this is way overshadowed by 1) cafeteria seating. You will probably sit with someone else next to you. Even McDonalds has better seating. 2) Weird pricing and small size portions. This is a fixed price pre-set menu. So preparation is not a problem. Yet everyone at our table had to order the either 3 or 4 course. We could not have 1 person order the 4 course unless we ALL ordered the 4 course. So one member of the table wanted the the "additional add on" of the seafood option. "Sorry that is 2 person size, so someone else at your table needs to order it" Huh. A bit weird. Menu says "pork chop cutlet". Great. 1 (one) single 1.0cm( .500 inch) pork chop arrives for 2 people. When asked "it says 1 cutlet per person?" Our waiter replies, well, this is a "sharing" pork chop. So, either eat ahead or eat after, BUT you will eat somewhere else. Service was OK, but not spectacular (wine glass and cocktail glasses where empty and never asked to be refilled). All in all, good food, but spoiled by high prices for the amount of food.
Delicious Mauritian flavours! Food and Service were amazing. The space was warm and cozy and well lit and decorated. Highly recommend.
