We celebrated a retirement dinner and it was an awesome experience. Every course was crafted to perfection leaving us completely satisfied by the end of our meal. The staff were outstanding. Highly professional, exceptional knowledge and dedicated to providing a world class dinning experience. Situated on the 55th floor the restaurant offers breathtaking views of Melbourne which added to the elegance of the evening. I would return for another special occasion
From the moment you arrive until you sadly finally depart you are treated with respect, superb service and delightful staff - what are a joy to go there The chefs were terrific , greeting you as you walked past or when you do the obligatory tour of the kitchen that was fascinating . The multi courses were fantastic with all waiting staff having a full knowledge of each morsel . Expensive yes but worth every dollar spent.
I had dinner at this place about 4 years ago and it was good. Last night was terrible. The food was below average, it was the worst I have had at a restaurant and I went to McDonalds in September. After nearly 4 hours I said to my wife we are going and left the last two courses. Over 4 hours we were served about half a dozen spoonfuls of food and I was starving. The glass wine was over priced rubbish. Service was not good either. There are plenty of good restaurants in Melbourne, this is not one of them. I said to my wife we shall never go there again. She was crying at how bad the place was. And when they presented me with the bill I could not believe it, and they wanted a tip. No way.
