If I lived in Melbourne I’d be a regular! Perfect Italian restaurant. I turned up without a reservation on a Saturday night and they squeezed me in. Really friendly service. Pork and veal bolognese, chocolate pudding and two lovely glasses of Shiraz for $100. And it was all lovely. Great atmosphere too. Recommended
Amazing Experience! The staff was lovely and very attentive, the food came out quick and was full of flavour. To end the night the restaurant provided a dessert on the house to celebrate my wedding anniversary. If I could rate it higher than 5 stars I would. Definitely recommend dining here for any occasion and I will be coming back when I return to the CBD.
Not a place for those who have poor hearing like me. We unfortunately made a Sat night 7.45 late booking and the cafe was heaving, where we were seated there were so many tables so close to each other in such a small room creating such a loud noise from everyone yelling above each other that we couldn’t hear our conversation at all, in fact i wanted to leave as the noise level was hurting my ears. Our main dishes were okay, one salmon dish the pasta wasn’t fully cooked and my marinara was half the size of other main dishes . However considering how busy and crowded the place was, the staff were great and promptly served meals and drinks inc water regularly. Its a nice location, so maybe try and book a early time on a weekday not a Saturday as it will probably be a bit quieter
We had dinner here and we’re so impressed. The staff were warm and welcoming. We sat in the basement area and the ambiance was amazing. The food was so good. The best calamari I have had in a very long time. Our pastas , fish and vegetables were tasty and good portions. Dessert was also incredible. We left very full and happy. This will absolutely be our go too in Melbourne for pastas. Thankyou for a wonderful night.
