Broken Head Nature Reserve is a protected area just south of Byron Bay, known for its pristine beaches like Kings Beach and Broken Head Beach, which are less crowded than the main town. The reserve features coastal rainforest and heathland, with walking tracks that wind through the vegetation and along the cliffs. Visitors can hike the 3.5-kilometer Broken Head Loop Track for stunning views of the ocean and headlands, or explore the rocky platforms at low tide. The area is also a habitat for seabirds and wallabies.
