Absolute BEST meal on my 2-week trip to Australia!!! We came on a week night and all tables were full and vibes were incredible. The eggplant was absolutely insane. As were the slushy drinks!! Pro-tip: ask for the vegetarian menu. They had a few items on there that aren’t on the regular menu like asparagus hand rolls which were delicious. As a gluten free vegetarian, I was wowed by the food options. My meat and fish eating boyfriend also absolutely loved this. Impeccable service from our waitress. We will be recommending this place to anyone coming to Brisbane!!!
We had the set menu at $70 pp and all the food was plentiful and so delicious. The staff were really friendly but we had a couple of mixups with our drinks and payment at the end but all was sorted eventually. The views of the river were beautiful but due to it being a windy day we chose to sit inside - word to the wise it can get very loud in there. But overall, great food, location and friendly staff
We were incredibly lucky to be fitted in without a reservation tonight. We were waited on by Martha who was attentive and kind throughout the night. We chose the izakaya set and the food was honestly the best we have had in Australia so far. The star of the show was the kingfish and the miso caramel soft serve, we cannot recommend this place enough! If you are lucky to be waited on by Martha you will have a night you won’t forget!
I thought we were going to a restaurant, not a night club. Great location on the river. Food was good. But, if you're wanting a restaurant location where you can talk and actually hear each other ... forget it. The music was SO LOUD you won't be able to hear anyone talking. We couldn't even hear anything the waiter was saying either. Was there to catch up with family from interstate. Had to scream across the table the whole night. Missed most of the stories as we couldn't hear each other. Was a disaster.
