Saint Gregory the Illuminator Cathedral is the largest Armenian Apostolic cathedral in the world, consecrated in 2001 to commemorate the 1700th anniversary of Armenia's adoption of Christianity. Its modern design features a massive central dome and two side chapels, all clad in tuff stone. Inside, the spacious sanctuary is adorned with contemporary religious art and stained glass.
