Sevanavank is a medieval Armenian monastery perched on the northwestern shore of Lake Sevan. Originally built on an island, the complex now sits on a peninsula due to water level changes. Visitors can explore two surviving churches, Surb Arakelots and Surb Astvatsatsin, and admire intricately carved khachkars (cross-stones) dotting the grounds. The site offers sweeping views of the lake and surrounding mountains, making it a serene spot for photography and reflection. Its remote location and historical significance draw pilgrims and tourists alike.
