Vahanavank is a 10th-century Armenian monastery tucked in a lush mountain valley near Kapan, its stone buildings harmonizing with the natural landscape. The complex includes a main church, a gavit (narthex), and several outbuildings, all adorned with fine medieval stonework. Particularly notable are the khachkars, cross-stones carved with intricate geometric and floral patterns, that dot the grounds. The site's peaceful atmosphere, shaded by trees and accompanied by the sound of a nearby stream, makes it a place for quiet reflection. Visitors can walk among the ruins, admire the architectural details, and enjoy the surrounding forested hills.
