Kecharis Monastery is a medieval Armenian monastic complex located in the heart of Tsaghkadzor. Dating back to the 11th century, it comprises three main churches, Surb Grigor, Surb Nshan, and Surb Harutyun, along with a gavit (narthex) and other structures. The complex is set against a backdrop of forested hills, offering a serene atmosphere for reflection. Visitors can explore the intricately carved khachkars (cross-stones) and admire the traditional Armenian architecture, including the distinctive drum and conical dome of the main church.
