Hartashen is a remote village in Syunik Province, located about 15 km southeast of Goris. Its main attraction is a set of ancient cyclopean ruins, massive stone walls built without mortar, believed to date back to the Urartian period. The ruins sit on a hill overlooking the village, offering sweeping views of the surrounding valleys and orchards. The village itself is quiet and sparsely populated, with a few traditional houses and a small chapel. Visitors can wander among the ancient stones, enjoy the serene landscape, and imagine the site's historical significance.
