Sanahin Bridge is a beautifully preserved medieval stone arch bridge that crosses the Debed River just downstream from the famous Sanahin Monastery. Built in the 12th–13th centuries, it was part of the historic Silk Road trade route connecting Armenia to Georgia and beyond. The bridge features a single graceful arch with a span of about 30 meters, constructed from local basalt blocks. Its sturdy design has withstood centuries of floods and earthquakes. Visitors can walk across the bridge, photograph the dramatic canyon setting, and imagine caravans of merchants and pilgrims crossing here. The site offers a quiet, scenic spot with views of the river and surrounding cliffs.
