Haghpat Monastery, founded in 976, is a prime example of Armenian monastic architecture and a UNESCO World Heritage site. The complex includes the main Surb Nshan Church, a large gavit, a bell tower, and several chapels, all built with dark stone that blends into the hillside. Visitors can admire the intricate stonework, including the famous khachkars and the unique double-arched bell tower. The monastery's serene setting offers a glimpse into medieval spiritual life.
