Buque Museo Fragata ARA Presidente Sarmiento

The Fragata ARA Presidente Sarmiento is a beautifully preserved 19th-century sailing frigate, now a museum ship moored in the fashionable Puerto Madero district of Buenos Aires. Built in Britain in 1897, she served as the Argentine Navy's training ship for decades, taking cadets on dozens of voyages around the world. Stepping aboard, you can explore the immaculately maintained decks, the captain's and officers' quarters, the engine room, galleys, and displays of nautical instruments, uniforms, figureheads, and seafaring memorabilia, all evoking life aboard a great age-of-sail naval vessel.
