The Monday River is a tributary of the Iguazu River, flowing through the Argentine province of Misiones. Its highlight is the Saltos del Monday waterfall, a powerful 40-meter (130-foot) cascade that plunges into a wide basin surrounded by lush jungle. Unlike the more famous Iguazú Falls, this site is quieter and less crowded, offering a more intimate experience. Visitors can view the falls from a series of walkways and platforms that provide panoramic perspectives, and there are also zip-line and rappelling activities for adventure seekers. The river itself is a popular spot for kayaking and fishing.

Don't miss

  • Admire the 40-meter drop of Saltos del Monday from multiple viewing platforms.
  • Try zip-lining or rappelling near the waterfall for an adrenaline rush.
  • Kayak or fish in the calmer sections of the Monday River.
