Mixed feelings. Good restaurant but one of our party of seven was served a steak dish that had been sent back by someone else. Only when challenged, because the steak had been cut in half, did they reluctantly admit. The replacement steak was excellent and the rest of the meal for everyone was good, but I don’t trust them.
The ambiance and service of this place is pretty awesome! We had a patient server who despite the language barrier - brought us everything we needed and the restaurant was cosy. The hot and spicy chicken wings were great and crispy - although I was expected larger drumlets! The Russian salad & fried milk did not disappoint! Fried milk was warm, sweet and crispy and the custard was literally melting in my mouth 🙂↔️
Mediocre food, bad/slow service, mistake with the bill, took forever to bring the bill and then another 15 minutes for the card machine. They put me on an empty 2nd floor right in the corner by the window- way to make a brave solo traveller feel like an outcast 😅 The steak was not great, the house wine not great either. Run by teenagers. On the plus side, I got my 2nd glass of wine free as they forgot to add it to the bill. The decor makes this place look far nicer than it is.
To call these pizzas is an insult to the whole of Italy! The base must be made from reconstituted recycled cardboard, we had two completely different pizzas but both leaked the same vile orange oily waste. Whilst we were eating a staff member wheeled stinking rubbish bins through the restaurant, really, while customers are eating??? Please, do not eat here, do not be impressed by the lovely frontage.
