If the hotel was 2 or 3 star my rating and review wouldn't be so harsh but this is apparently a 5 star hotel. The rooms are extremely dated and always seem to smell like cigarettes. The whole hotel is old and in disrepair. The bathtub which is meant to be a jacuzzi doesn't work which is a huge shame. This seems to be the case for all of them. I asked for a repair and got nothing. There's not always hot water either, very little in the morning. Even at midday. The water is sometimes not replaced in the fridge. If you ask the staff a question you often get a very confused stare. Not because they don't understand, even speaking Spanish I'm looked at this way. The restaurant food is good however the service from the lead waiter can be very interrupting and leaves a bad vibe. The menus we were given were old and with lots of mistakes. Way to big to handle also. Some of the electronic beds don't work also. At night time we still had no water and tried to order more on the telephone. The woman working on the reception was extremely rude and lazy and kept forwarding the call to someone that spoke French only. 5 star hotel and we can't even order water? I came with a group of 6 people and together we stayed in 3 rooms. We ALL had the same problems, we all are incredibly open-minded, well travelled and not the type of people to complain without reason. As you will see from my other google reviews. I've also learnt that some of the reception staff where also exceptionally rude to the rest of my group. Turning up their noses at the most simple of requests. There are some staff members that are very polite and helpful. But the majority of those that guests deal with are not. If you look at the rude and sarcastic replies this hotel has written to any one that writes a bad google review you will see that it cares not for their customer, only for their reputation. I will report this hotel to the standards agency personally and hopefully their star rating will be adjusted to match the true value of their package. Very disappointing. Avoid.
This is the closest thing to a Four Seasons experience in Andorra la Vela/Escaldes. The hotel is small and intimate, excellent for privacy since there are only a few rooms on each floor. It helps if you know basic Spanish as English is not commonly spoken by the hotel staff. The rooms are really nice, the bathrooms are awesome (steam shower with 6 jets, handheld shower and overhead shower) and jacuzzi that is controlled by an electronic remote. The beds are comfortable, and it's location is perfect for shopping.
Food was good, but not brilliant and service was outstanding, but am not sure if I'd go back there. Price seems not to reflect the quality of both anyway, it's a bit too pricey for what they serve.
The place is expensive but the environment is great and the food is superb. We had the 28 euros menu and everything was good
