I loved dining here. I visited here on my first day (2 June) in Andorra after finding out that Eulari offers both Escudella and Trinxat, which is what I ended up having. They are served beautifully and tasted great. If you want to go traditional all the way, be sure to get Crema Catalana to finish off your meal. I was also impressed with the service. I especially appreciate that the owner was pretty firm on stopping me from ordering too much food: he said it's either Escudella and Trinxat, or Escudella and mountain rice. I was overexcited trying all the traditional Andorra food on that day (I was staying 2-4 June [Sunday to Tuesday], and this borda is closed on Mondays and Tuesdays), and thank goodness he did. So plus points for running the business with transparency. It was also fun for me to try communicating with the staff with very little Castellano I learnt while in high school because they do not speak English. Even had a small bonding session, since both the owner and I were immigrants. (I am a Korean who immigrated to North America 20 years ago; he is from Portugal running this borda in Andorra.) I had a great time. Great food, and above all a fantastic owner. If you only have time for one borda during your stay in Andorra, THIS is the one. As I noted above, this borda does not open on Mondays and Tuesdays, so plan it accordingly.
Fantastic! I can only recommend this restaurant. The food was amazing, the service was great and we will definitely go there again.
We visited Borda Eulari on the recommendation of a friend who owns a house in Andorra. Without his tip, we might have missed this slightly off-the-beaten-path gem. He insisted we try one of the “Borda” restaurants, and this was our first stop. The place feels cozy and homey, like being at your grandparents’ house or a cherished family home in the countryside where you spent joyful childhood moments. The food reflects this warmth too. It’s not about fancy presentation here; it’s all about the taste - that comforting, family-style cooking. I ordered lamb for my main dish and I’m already craving to go back for it. It was spectacular - perfectly cooked, tender, falling apart with a delicious caramelized crust. We also tried the magret de canard and a schnitzel, which were tasty but couldn’t quite compare to the lamb. The service was friendly and welcoming. We paired our meal with the house wine, which was excellent. The only slight letdown was the cheesecake for dessert. Still, I highly recommend a visit to this restaurant. It’s a delightful experience!
Great food, with native Andorra dishes, Good Wines and excellent service, easy parking outside, try the meat dishes ....
