Dajti Mountain National Park rises dramatically east of Tirana, offering a quick escape into alpine nature. The Dajti Express cable car whisks visitors from the city outskirts to the summit in about 15 minutes, revealing panoramic vistas of Tirana and the surrounding peaks. At the top, marked hiking trails range from easy walks to challenging treks, leading through pine forests and past rocky outcrops. The park is also home to diverse wildlife and several restaurants where you can enjoy traditional Albanian cuisine with a view.
