Elbasan Han is a beautifully restored Ottoman-era caravanserai, originally built in the 19th century to accommodate traders and their caravans. Today, it functions as a museum and cultural center, offering a glimpse into the region's commercial past. The two-story stone building surrounds a cobbled courtyard, where visitors can explore exhibits on traditional crafts, including woodcarving, weaving, and metalwork. The han also hosts cultural events, such as folk music performances and art exhibitions. Its peaceful courtyard, with a fountain and shaded seating, is an ideal spot to rest and reflect on the history of trade routes in the Balkans.
