An amazing experience with fresh and authentic Latin food! The restaurant offered reasonably priced dishes with generous portion sizes. Liz and the team went above and beyond, making sure we felt welcomed even though we arrived just before closing time. We enjoyed a variety of dishes, including ceviches, pineapple shrimp, birria tortas, yuca fries, churrasco, and topped it off with flan for dessert. A 10/10 experience and highly recommend!

My wife and I recently had dinner at Mariscos 1133 in Washington, DC. The restaurant has a fast-casual vibe, and while the food is generally good, there were some points that stood out. They don't sell bottled water, which was a bit surprising as I'm not a fan of the local tap water. The lobster and crab guacamole, though tasty, had only a small amount of seafood and seemed a bit pricey for what you get. My fish was overcooked and too crispy for my liking, but my wife really enjoyed her Puerto Vallarta salad. The service was decent, and the atmosphere is more relaxed than what we usually prefer. Overall, it was an average dining experience.

Until this review, I've always been able to count on TripAdvisor for sound advice. 4+ stars for this one? No way. Food was average at best. Host was absent when I arrived. Sterile environment is a compliment. We'll not return. And I think of all the places I could've gone to spend my $80+ on the two of us.

Good tastes but very small portions.listed as a seafood restaurant but limited options. It was a rather expensive experience given the appetizer size of our two meals.
